Red

I saw this one among all the green leaves. They are leaves of the flower woodland geranium. The red one was really popping out. I like the sharp shadow from the grass on the leaf

Both iColorama and Hipsta involved here and a lot of Touch Retouch to get rid of the most disturbing grass parts

The one thing I really love about that Hipstamatic combo is that is darkens a bright shot.
 
Apple Event - worst possible timing :rolleyes:

I never watch television except for Apple events. Tonight I was eager to watch it. But I got a bit "disappointed" when I got outside soon before the event start:

Went inside and sat down:

Went out for a smoke when they babbled about hardware details and saw this :eek:

Went back inside and thought about all the "fantastic" photos I would have taken if I didn't "have to" watch the event. When the first part of the event was over it was already dark outside. Then I got a notification from the Aurora app about good chances to see the Northern Lights :facepalm: "This is too much, I'll soon have a nervous breakdown:confused:" I sighed.

Went out again. And there was a faint northern lights. I felt almost happy it wasn't very spectacular:

When the event was over I summed up the evening in Superimpose X ;):

More optical zoom - up to 5x.
I had hoped they would give the option of 2TB storage on the phone, but they said nothing abouit that. Instead they launched three new levels of iCloud+ 6TB, 8TB and 12TB if I remember correctly. I guess the higher levels will be super expensive. I have 2TB iCloud today.
I have a 13 Pro Max today. I don’t think I will upgrade. At least I will wait and see what other people, like you mobitoggers, will say if they decide to buy.

The 5x tele is the main thing that tempts me. Since I use my phone almost entirely for taking pictures, the rest of the improvements probably don't affect me that much. I'm thinking I'll probably wait for next year to see if it goes longer and comes to the Pro as well as the Pro Max. On the other hand, if I trade in my 14 Pro instead of hanging onto it (as I've done with all my other phones), I could probably get the 15 Pro Max for about 1/2 price. Hmm...

Well, no need to rush. Let's see what people say once they get them in their hands.
