The sky tonight

We were on our way to the grocery store when the 91% Moon showed up. The photo shot from the car wasn’t really good at all so I took help of Lightroom and iColorama and totally remade it

It‘s curious how plants manage to escape their containers and show up a year later. We have two petunia plants that grew this year in Mike’s flower bed that I had planted last year in my window boxes. Quite surprising considering the amount of dead heading I did. Apparently a couple of seeds caught a ride. We have pansy that grown 2 years in a row (through a layer of pebbles) that started out in a container. We, too, have sunflowers, a little late to the party, but they grew under the bird feeder. Not so surprising.

The dusk passes so fast in this time of the year but I managed to get some pics of the magic evening light

This is against my ethics, but…..

I found this fur coat in a second hand store with a price tag of under 40 GBP. I’ve been looking for something very warm to wear when I go out for a smoke and this one was perfect. Again, I’m strongly againts furs but this coat must be at least 40 years old and at least recycling is good. And yes, I know that smoking is bad too

Howling owl
