The ash tree Yggdrasil looks extra magnificent against the dramatic thunderstorm clouds. I was lucky today. The thunderstorm didn’t get very close to us today. We could hear the thunder in the distance though.

Shot with native cam through the not so clean kitchen window. I’m amazed that the dirt isn’t visible :zip: or perhaps it’s my bad glasses again:D

Love the framing of that last shot Eva

Sitting on the porch after dinner enjoying the evening sun :) Looking at this photo I really don’t know if I really could give up and leave this place. Noisy Neighbours are at a party somewhere far away tonight :whistle:

the lake after sunset

lots of mosquitos, but who cares. We were the only humans up there. A robin and a blackbird were singing and small fish splashed about, probably hunted by bigger fish. We stayed just for 20 minutes. When we got home we got a view of the full moon rising in the south

Agh, the longest day already! You know what that means!!!!!:( The daisies are ox-eye daisies I think. That’s what we call them.,

That’s the common daisy here. Ox-eye is very suitable. In Swedish we say “prästkrage” - priest’s collar
And yes the solstice is now. I have been thinking of it for weeks with a sad feeling in my heart.
Sunset at 22:16 tonight. Not a very interesting sky, not a cloud in sight. native cam, edits in Photos app

Me too.:(

Happy person who doesn’t care at all about the solstice ;)

This week Linus is free from his ordinay work. Instead he’s together with old and new friends on a yearly summer activity for people with special needs arranged by a fantastic non-profit org. Shot by a staff person with Linus’ iPhone SE. I added the text element in PicsArt

He looks very lonely here on the photo. The usual GDPR problem :zip:

Lives up to his name (strange English perhaps rather Swenglish)

Mum and Dad Flycatcher are still very busy feeding their babys in the nest on our house. Here’s Dad. A lot of zoom and wrong lighting but I like that you can really see the insect in his beak

clock maniac :lmao::inlove:

When we came over to Linus’ for coffee this afternoon he was so excited. Held up his arm to show us his latest bargain. Yesterday he had been to a flee market and of all the thousands of things that were sold of course he chose a… watch :whistle: It’s very retro and very cool. The Swedish television had this when there were no programs back in the old days when we had two channels that only broadcasted part of the day. Of course Linus can’t remember that as I wasn’t born back then. He paid about 5 quid. I’m a bit envious and I could have paid more If I had been there yesterday.

On the last one it looks like a sparkler is going off over the dahlias ( or are they zinnias?)
