We‘ve had a lot of storms over the years and seen power outages in other areas, but the last time our power went out was 1999. A microburst went through on Labor Day. Power was out for 3 days. We have been very lucky. We have a wood stove we haven’t used for years, but we keep it on the ready, just in case…..
I am AMAZED that in the type of area where you live, it’s been 23 years and no power outages?? Freaky.

Sunset at 17:41. Just one more week until the equinox :) Lightroom

I know. Other towns have had the power go out. It may be the NYSEG is more stable that RGE. I’ve heard people refer to RGE as Rochester Gas and Sometimes Electric. Our lights have flickered at times, but not gone off. Of course, now I’ve jinxed us.

This is just too much. It's been snowing for hours. Right now it's converted into rain, which is even worse

I’ve set up a reminder to install this at a time of the day I don’t use my iPad for other stuff. I read the indexing at the first time use could take quite a long time. I guess it could be a really looooong time in my case :coffee:

Okay, I’m sold. Off to the App Store.

edit: Annddd….I’ve already got it. :lmao:
I just indexed my excessive supersized photo library with Queryable - thanks terse It didn’t take too long and it seems to work. A funny thing is the feeling I get of doing text to AI when entering the search string :) As I have so many photos a lot of "unknown" images turn up which makes it feel even more like Text to AI:alien::lmao:

One out of 30 photos of the sky half an hour ago. It was like magic. I rushed out in my slippery slippers and no jacket. Now I’m freezing to the bone, Dinner time I think.

What a glorious sky. I can understand you rushing out in the cold to catch the photo. How long do the light shows last ?

The most intense part about 10-15 minutes I think. I will check that up next time. Could be good for me to know if I have time for putting on proper clothing before rushing out :geek:

What’s happened? I don’t know if I’ve clicked somewhere by mistake but all of the formatting options are greyed out emojis included ;-(

I have done that before! It took forever to figure it out. It’s the brackets on the right, next to the tiny save disc.

Listening to the larks in a chair outside the house. 8 degrees today. We’ve heard several larks, seen many swans and two cranes. Just look at that smile. Almost as charming as Linus ;):inlove:
