Day 240 - August 28th - Challenge :geek:

What's that? Can you spot it? I could, at 3 meters distance and without my best glasses. The answer will very soon be posted in my playground thread :D

Well, there's that orange rock that looks like a slab of salmon... But maybe you mean the speckled thing below it that could be a bunny?

Day 241 - August 29th - Tiny toad

My DH was mowing the lawn when a very small toad appeared just in front of the sharp blades. Lucky toad :) I didn't kiss him though. I already have my very own Prince Charmings:rolleyes:

There are tiny toads where we walk. Always have to watch where we’re stepping.

Day 243 - August 31st - Posh people tend to be late ;)

I don't know if the phrase in my heading exists as a saying. It's a translation of Swedish: "Fint folk kommer alltid sent". I think it was suitable for this image of a sweet pea flower. Last year we had many of the in full bloom from late June and forward. This year.... I think I saw the first one last week. And today I spotted two.

Now cut that out! You skipped my two favorite months! :lmao:
Mine, too — where I live the soil is warming up, pretty things starting to show themselves, air smells different, dryer, softer. Sky starts to stretch out, very blue - everything opening up again from winter. Best sunsets of the year. And the promise of summer.
Your end of the earth is coming into winter - what do you love most about those months?

Day 235 - August 23rd - Misty morning vs Psychedelic afternoon

Just another day in our lives have passed. Mixed moods as always :)

Hipsta Akira Belém - shot through the mosquite net while I was relaxing in our ”outdoor livingroom”
That first misty image is glorious. Nice Hipsta edit, too

The temperatures, the color of the leaves and most of all Halloween. I don’t mind winter that much.

Day 247 - September 4th - Having fun in the sun :lmao:

Fantastic weather. Almost like summer. And it’s going to be like this for several days. We’re excited and maybe even sunstruck :D

Day 248 - September 5th - Double harvest

The old man went out for blueberries. There was plenty of them. But also plenty of mushrooms.

Shot with native cam, but I couldn’t resist doing an Akira-Belém in Hipsta X :D

Don’t you agree that the reality - I mean the original - just looks flat and dull?

Something I struggle with while “punching up” reality is the over-saturation of skin tones. So I have to end up masking skin and treating it differently. There are things that our brain does in the moment (Wow, that’s a great moment) that it won’t do later for a photo (That’s so flat).

True. My husband’s face gets a ”Mediterranian” look

Using “vibrance“ instead of “saturation” isn’t supposed to affect skin tones. Unfortunately not all apps offer that option.

Right, but raising contrast also raises saturation, with no Vibrance option. That’s why I say I have to adjust the skin separately.

Day 249 - September 6th - The calm after the ”storm” ;)

Today my DH has been away working at his old workplace. I had been looking forward to a whole day on my own. But the day turned out to be a real mess. Technical issues and health-related problems. Late in the afternoon I finally got out for another walk, to compensate for an interrupted morning walk. Back home I made myself a huge coffee and sunk down in a chair out on the porch. I felt much better.

My view from the chair:

When I looked at your middle image I thought of the Creedence song, “looking out my back door” :lmao:
