Day 303 - October 30th - Ready to take a walk in my shoes :)

Got a call from the staff that Linus winter boots were nowhere to be found. And it's definitely not sneakers' weather here now. Fortunately Linus has a mother who possesses way too many shoes  And has the same size

Day 305 - November 1st - Close encounter

One of our feeders is attached to our kitchen window with suction cups. Today I managed to capture one of the lunch guests. They often get scared when we show up on the other side of the window.

Edits in Lightroom and iColorama while I was talking on the phone with a person who got ostomy surgery a week ago. I’m not sure what I did with the photo. I’m not completely satisfied with the result. But my friend was more important. We talked for 90 minutes! She works at Linus home.

I zoomed in on the bird, nice detail. The friend is lucky to have you to talk to.

Almost 10 years with ostomy. I’ve never met anyone with the same ”issue” during these years. She and I have always had a good relationship. Linus’s ”helpers” have become sort of our extended family by now. Almost 6 years since he moved there.

Day 306 - November 2nd - Dressed up for winter

Took a long time for me to choose the best clothes for today’s walk in the snow showers. I almost got envious of my friends Blacks & Whites when I met them :)

Day 308 - November 4th - Just another wet walk

Today I feel I’m starting to get used to this season. Not that I like it, but my brain has started the process of acceptance

Day 309 - November 5th - I thought I was only dreaming, but it was real :)

I got a lovely surprise this morning - sunshine. I could hardly believe my eyes. Double-checked the weather apps and noticed the dream wouldn’t last long. So I swallowed my pain killers with a tiny gulp of espresso and rushed out. Got a wonderful two hours walk. I even got accompanied by the moon. Shortly after I got back home the grey returned

Day 310 - November 6th - Only one herd still on pasture now

Met these cows today. They seemed as bored as me in the grey and wet November darkness. I guess the farmer will move them to the stable/barn.

Day 311 - November 7th - Hibernating snail :)

Remember the giant ash tree I posted a few weeks ago? Well, it has become the pick-up-point, where my DH waits with the car while I finish my daily walk. The perfect spot - exactly 10,0 km from my starting point :geek:
Today we find this beautiful snail attached to the bark. I guess it chose to hibernate there

Day 313 - November 9th - Not my day :(

We got vaccinated for covid and the seasonal flu yesterday. I woke up feeling miserable. Flu-like symptoms. Strange. I have never reacted to the vaccines before. Spent most of the day in bed. Haven't even taken a walk, which is extremely rare.

Same here. Mike and I were vaccinated on Tuesday and were both achy and fatigued on Wednesday. I skipped my yoga class and our walk lasted until Rosy pooped. We ate chicken soup I had in the freezer for supper. And same about this was the first time either of us had a problem.

What a strange coincidence. I checked up which vaccine we got and it was the same as last year - Comirnaty. Luckily enough I felt better already yesterday evening. Had a good night’s sleep and woke up feeling my ”normal self” again

Day 314 - November 10th - Back on track

After yesterday’s vaccine reaction I slept like a log and woke up feeling fit for fight. Well prepared for a 10km rainy walk. Interesting hairstyle after taking off the cap. My hair seems to say: Thanks for liberating us from that damp place :D
