APPstract RESULT: Weekly APPstract #2 No Themes

Thank you, Ted :inlove: :notworthy: :)

and congrats FundyBrian — lovely demonstration of a beautiful abstract arising out of mindful application of a few apps   (And a literary reference, to boot!)

Congrats ImageArt and RoseCat - two striking and completely different collages :notworthy: :inlove:

Weekly APPstract #4 is here

Thanks for posting the link here. Makes it easy to follow up. But happened to #3?

Forgive me for being brief, but...

First place to FundyBrian's "A Wrinkle in Time," which looks like a linocut print to me, simple and striking, especially the sweeping lines that are laid over the dark birds and trees.

Second place to ImageArt's "Where Do You Travel in Your Sleep," a quilt-like collage of faces and ferns, and places with a beautiful color palette.

Third place to RoseCat's untitled assemblage of gongs and mazes and places that has a slightly faded look, as if cut out from scrapbook photographs.

Congratulations FundyBrian!! Really striking and interesting piece. Agree with Ted that it looks like a linocut.

High five ImageArt Ann! Beautiful piece you created. I’m surprised/honored for the third place... thank you Ted. :notworthy:

Like the tide, time travels in waves. Here on the Bay of Fundy powerful forces collide.
Procreate, BeCasso, Painnt, Affinity.
This is wonderful. You should definitely print this onto cards and put them into this year’s art sale at your house.

Lovely choices Ted - all three are brilliant in their own different ways. I would also add that your fantasy creation with the dragon is marvellous too.
