Found CameraMX will do kaleidoscopes in real time. I know there's plenty of apps that will do it in post but that can be a bit hit snd miss and this is giving me a high degree of control over the composition.

An observation, mxcamera has kaleidoscope, tiny world, edge detection and many other effects which I've used in apps before but I'm finding using them live enables better control of composition. More than that, because you see it live, you learn to see it better.

Exactly right. I’ve had that experience with a few apps with live effects, too. Especially things like mirrored effects and kaleidoscope. Just the slightest change in camera position can have significant implications to the result.

I was going to post the 2nd one but then the top one came up (on the random Hipsta setting). I think the shapes (for Ann’s theme) are more distinct. And I like the muted palette better, too. What do you think? My earlier Tiny-Planet-ed Skype notes, blended and re-blended two bgs in Union and a play with the random button in Hipsta.

Hi guys! 
I did a cool abstract and couldn't post it for my stupid super expensive device is somehow messed up. I have a lot of cool apps that work fin on ios12 but I cant save it. For the dialogue all I see is three blank spaces where the bars should show up with save to album ..., open in ... and Airdrop. Last is the only icon shown, but even droppable devices nearby arent shown. Somehow I can send some pictures via email, but now I cant even save pictures from email. Yes, been to Apple store already, THe geek thought a reste might do. Didn't.
All I can do is start all over again and I hate it! Why isnt there a diagnosis app like we have fpor the MAC, that can repair such miserable problems? I HATE IT.
Anyway, I now forwarded to the office and post it from there including the original.

Original was a macro shot of a Pomelo with native XSmax
