Google+

Help - when you reply to someone's comment how do you get the +name to come up? I tried it but it didn't work? In instagram you just click and hold someone's name and you select mention, is it the same for Google+? My poor little brain cant cope with so many social networking sites!!
 
Type the '+' sign first, then any name you type after it will bring up a list of people in your circles. Select the name you want - or continue typing - and carry on with the comment.
 
One other little question, when you share a post or a photo, I have to manually select my circles and also extended circle?
 
Extended Circles covers all of your Circles and then some Veevs, I believe... :cool:

So you do not need to enter Circles manually, unless you only want to circulate your stuff among selected Circles... :confused:

Google has a strict rule of only allowing people with two names at the moment as they aren't allowing businesses yet. You sure you successfully signed up using just the one name?

Found you! Mind you, there are about a zillion Gareth Evans on G+ already. Thankfully only one from Swaziland and with your avatar, though. :thumbs:
