Before all please excuse me my non adequate English.

I am a 62's grandpa who for more than 25 years works with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) in Local Human Development, emphatizing in Water, Sanitation and Organization and Communitary Comunication. Now with several colleagues, nationals and internationals, are working in the methodological and organizational design of the "Central America Institute for the Local Human Development Management" (Instituto Centroamericano para la Gestión del Desarrollo Humano Local/IDHL).

Before, I use relatively the photography as a didactical instrument - believe me please, nothing good or extraordinary, just take photos to present and help to analyze some issues into the rural and urban marginal communities.

Now with the IDHL and continuing with PAR, the emphasis will be in the public policy process - local civil society participation -, the capability approach highligting the agency and autonomy, and the public-private-communitary collaboration.

I came to Mobitog looking to learn and update me from your experience.
No more Nikons, lens... Just my iPhone 4S and some pieces of Apps, most of those, bought because some on the discussions in your Forums.

Hello to everyone!

Glenton - Hiya Rodolfo and a very warm welcome to the Global Mobile Photography Community that is MobiTog, it is great to have you join us from Nicaragua...

My Nikon is used no more too, hopefully we will soon see some of your work with your 4S and we can help you enjoy your Mobile Photography even more... :D

RoseCat will be along shortly you some pointers for the MobiCommunity, but the best advice is to just to leap right in and join in anywhere and everywhere you fancy, which you seem to be doing rather nicely already, you already know we are quite a friendly bunch really... ;)

Hopefully, you will enjoy our humble offerings and will then spread the word to all of your Mobile Photography addicted friends, family and everyone else you can think of to help us share the MobiLurve around the globe... :inlove:

Oh, and if you have a minute, please do drop your location pin on the MobiMap, under the Members tab at the top of the page in browser view... ;)

By the way, your English is most excellent, so I would not worry on that score sir...

If you need any assistance on anything MobiTog, or Mobile Photography generally, just shout up, everyone here is so very helpful... :rog:

Welcome, Rolfo, very glad to have you with us. Please don't worry about your english or anything else, you're among friends. As long as you can ask questions we can help you. :)

As for recommending apps you couldn't be in a better place. Make a date every weekend to check out my Weekend Bargains lists in the Apps Discussion area. You'll find new and existing photo apps at incredible bargain prices, many absolutely free. You'll also find recommendations from members in the New Apps Watch and BargainWatch threads in that forum which I'm sure will be of help.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your part of the world.

Hi Rodolfo and welcome to Mobitog! We are very friendly and will be glad to help you with all your questions about mobile photography! (I like the photo of your boys.)

Hi Rodolfo and welcome to Mobitog! We are very friendly and will be glad to help you with all your questions about mobile photography! (I like the photo of your boys.)

Thanks for your amiability Richard and Lisa. Please if you have some suggestion about the restore of the photo of my boys do not hesitate to tell me.

My best.

Welcome to MobiTog Rodolfo! You've found the perfect place to learn all there is to know about mobile photography. You can browse our App Discussion area here, where you'll find all kinds of information: http://www.mobitog.com/forums/apps-discussion.24/. And in this thread the MobiCommunity tells us their must-have apps: http://www.mobitog.com/threads/mobitogs-essential-apps-2014-the-winners.15888/

Here's some information that might prove useful as you find your way around:

http://www.mobitog.com/forums/mobitog-com-questions-suggestions-issues.10/ - MobiTog Questions/Suggestions/Issues

The MobiTog Community is set out in four main areas or sections:

Community
Here we welcome everyone, post announcements and take in your suggestions and comments.

Image Sharing
Self-explanatory and broken down into sub-sections clearly named to make it easy to find a topic of your choice. It is here that you post your images.

Phoneography Discussion
For general conversations and discussions about all things mobile photography related.

Members Area
An exclusive MobiMembers-only section. Feel free to discuss things with other members - and find out about Top Secret stuff not for public consumption!

Important note: Please remember that only images originated on a mobile device (iOS or Android) can be posted to this community. No pictures created on a DSLR or compact camera are allowed.

Handy Tip: At the top of the site in the orange bar you'll see "New Posts", and clicking/tapping on it will take you to all the unread new posts that occurred since your last visit. Note: If there's just too many there to deal with, and you're really anal like me you can go up to the top and select "Mark Discussions Read" - and choose just a specific area to 'clear out', for example App Discussions, or choose all discussions which will clear everything and allow you to sort of 'start fresh'. That way the next time you go into New Posts, there will just be the most recent posts since you "erased" everything.

Also when you hover over your username in the very top right, you have an option to choose "Ignore New Posts", and select any forums/discussions that you DON'T want to show up.

Lastly, if you have any questions on anything at all be sure to give us a shout out!

Thanks for your amiability Richard and Lisa. Please if you have some suggestion about the restore of the photo of my boys do not hesitate to tell me.

My best.
Hi Rodolfo...

I have moved your photograph help request to another Section where it may be better responded to.

It is posted HERE - just click the link to find it...

It will then reach other members who may be able to assist, although photograph restoration is a bit of a specialist subject and not normally a topic found here, but we will see... :rog:

Welcome to the most friendly and helpful site I've ever been to! But seriously.....you'll love it here even more each time you return. Can't wait to see your pics.
