My Waterly/Landscapes collection

Hope this is what I am meant to do in this thread, if not please shout! Sooo putting all my Waterly/Landscape photos into one thread!

This one was my first image of this style. I had cycled to Kew Gardens and on the way back had the view of Old Isleworth from the other side of the river! Just mixed up a load of AutoPainter and AutoPainterII filters and spent a while blending and masking them all in Iris
From the Other Side of the River.JPG

Also really pleased that this was my first ever image to be featured in Pixels!

And my neighbour has had this one put into Canvas and one of my bestest friends in the US had it printed out and its hanging on her wall! Something I need to do with mine!

Summertime is also in the same style. Took this photo from the other side of Richmond across the River on a lovely summery day!
Summertime.JPG

This one also made it to Pixels http://pixelsatanexhibition.com/water/summer-times

Again same style came Delightful Riverside - always Richmond and such beautiful views from the river

I think this style is liked at Pixels because this one also made it there : http://pixelsatanexhibition.com/uncategorized/delightful-riverside

I do like this style as I immerse myself in the image, first creating several filters with both AutoPainters and then spending ages blending one into another, masking out a lot, then blending the results with another filter and so on. Really like the painterly look.

Want to not always do the same style so modifying photos and using new apps as I go along! Took this photo at the top of Richmond Hill - such a lovely view. Used my usual AutoPainter and AutoPainterII but then added Painteresque and ModernGrunge and as usual used my favourite Iris to blend and mask!

Follow the Path also made it Pixels : http://pixelsatanexhibition.com/country-life/follow-the-path

When I go walking from home into Richmond (or cycling) I have to walk 5 minutes on the road, then I get to the river path. As I get to the river there is this cluster of lovely houseboats - they are permanently there. Took this photo ages ago and processed it when I first started iphoneography, but I re-did it. This one just has AutoPainter and Iris.

And it also made it to Pixels : http://www.flickr.com/photos/veevs/6764469029/in/photostream

:inlove::inlove::inlove: your painterly iMages, Veevs! What a wonderful eye you have for detail, and the colours - they just pop! You must be so chuffed your neighbour and friend have your work on their walls. Have you sold much of your work? I'll bet any number of galleries in Richmond would snap them up in a flash, lucky you!

Egraphic, Cat and Aly, thank you so much! Aly no I haven't sold anything as not had a chance to compile my work. But, I have bought a Photo Book (offer with 70% off) - A4 size 100 pages, so going to put all my images into this Photobook and then I have visual documentation to take into Frame Shops etc. Not many in Richmond though. A job for me to do when the weather warms up! Next job is to start printing my photos for me lol!! I have several of my other stuff in RedBubble but never sold anything :(

Wonder if we're doing something wrong over there? I've tried "liking" other people's work on RedBubble to "get out there" but there's only so many hours in a day. I list my RedBubble link on IG and Facebook...

?? Why aren't we selling anything ??

:(

Not sure Cat - but I dont spend a lot of time on RedBubble and dont promote anything. Haven't updated in a while either. Have you not sold anything either?

We had snow last weekend (ugh horrible stuff) so Sunday morning just went walking around me to take some photos and it was blooming cold!! The river is about 2 mins or less walk from me (the Thames) and it is tidal as there are locks up the river that control the flow. So Sunday morning it was low! There are always a bunch of boats being repaired on the other side and they don't seem to go anywhere! Took the photo with ClassicPan and processed with Snapseed, DynamicLight, ModernGrunge and Iris.

2.jpg

Nowhere to go made it to Pixels too http://pixelsatanexhibition.com/water/nowhere-to-go

Same walk, took photo the other direction - the original was a horrible photo! Used
ClassicPan, Camera+, Painteresque, AutoPainter, PhotoToaster, DynamicLight, Iris

I didn't think this one would be liked but it did make it to Pixels http://pixelsatanexhibition.com/country-life/low-tide

These two shots are my favourites of the series thus far. I love the composition and the grittiness of the river banks.

My dear friends Aaron and Elizabeth made some lovely purchases, and I, of course buy stuff for my family, but that's it. :(
