I was so excited to walk into the midst of this that I just started shooting with Hipsta, not even checking the combo. I probably wouldn't have used W40 as it added some blue, but all-in-all I think the combo brought out the wonderful colors. :D
 
These are all superbly done Cat, really bringing out the diverse atmosphere of the event... ;)

Of course, there is only one clear favourite... :D

And this sort of situation is absolutely ideal for the Ven's patented 'Shake-'n-Take' routine... :rog:

These images are breathtaking. I recently relocated from Houston to Tulsa and I am experiencing culture shock. I miss the diversity and all the festivals and parades that come with it.

Oh, thank you Jo! I appreciate that so much. :) And yes, the vast diversity of people, culture, food, etc. is one of the things I absolutely love about NYC.
