It was a single shot - but there was a big separation between the boy behind the wall and the man running. I wished they had been closer. However looking at the shot I realised I could slip the wall nearer the man by using the edge of the wall as a cutting point. Layering the two together, and applying a slight blur to the layer containing the running man, gave a much more dramatic frame. I don' usually manipulate shots but on this occasion I think the end result justified it.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up Jo... ..always good to know how an image is pulled together...

And agree totally, the end justifies the means most definitely in this case...
