It was a single shot - but there was a big separation between the boy behind the wall and the man running. I wished they had been closer. However looking at the shot I realised I could slip the wall nearer the man by using the edge of the wall as a cutting point. Layering the two together, and applying a slight blur to the layer containing the running man, gave a much more dramatic frame. I don' usually manipulate shots but on this occasion I think the end result justified it.
