Toby and Max have been in Rome (with their parents) since early January. 3 weeks ago Italy opened up to American tourists so we hopped right on it and flew to Rome on a COVID tested flight ( no quarantining required. ) We’ve been in Italy a little over a week, but picture taking isn’t high on the list of activities. I’ve managed a few.
We went straight from the airport to an agriturismo in Tarquinio, a small town on the coast 45 miles northwest of Rome.

Wow, good to know that someone can go abroad on holiday. How long are you staying in Italy?
Because of the in frequency of the Covid tested flights, many of which were unavailable, our total trip will be four weeks. We were aiming for closer to three. I would use the term “holiday“ loosely. There is a fair amount of childcare involved. Not our typical trip abroad. The boys aren’t that enthusiastic walking and sightseeing in 30°C temperatures. (Their sightseeing stamina is limited.) On the plus side there’s a lot of gelato and pizza being eaten.
We’re in Rome for another week then off for a seaside 5 days in Puglia.
