February 2nd…..33/365…..Today’s walk….Rutland Water….First trip out with the new Motorhome.
They enjoyed the walk. They soon adjusted to the van but when we put them into their travel basket (same one as in the car)…They started to play up….perhaps the noise or just a different setup..hopefully they improve next trip out.Ooh! Exciting! Are the dogs bothered by the change in routine?

The Motorhome was a treat to drive……automatic, which make driving so much easier as you can concentrate on the road not constant gear changing. Walkies with the dogs around Rutland Water, then back to the van for a cuppa and sarnie……isn’t life wonderfulAnd how was that Dave?
Translation please.sarnie
Sandwich….English slangTranslation please.
We’re just taking it out for day trips at the moment just to get the doggies used to it…….first big tour likely about May is the Northumberland 250 which as the name suggests is a 250 mile trip around the English county of Northumberland….up the east coast to Berwick, then down the west side through the Northumberland National Park to Hadrian’s Wall…..I’m from that neck of the woods so it like a reunion tour.Do you have an itinerary, or are you wandering?

And not a person in sight. Love the grass in this one Dave.
Rutland Water is always very busy at weekends and holidays but if you can plan your walk during school time, you often have the place to yourselves. And not a person in sight. Love the grass in this one Dave.
