If you want a sample of how good a landscape can be when shot with a mobile phone, check out this guy on Flickr:

He seems to shoot primarily in the Southwest (of the US) with a variety of iPhones from a 5s to an X.

EDIT: Or instagram https://www.instagram.com/allophile_/ although at first glance there look to be more landscapes in the Flickr feed.

Superb images, but location is key and unfortunately not available to most :(
I'd love to know what he processes with.
edit....I actually prefer his shots of buildings

Wow, I also would like to know what he processes them in. He seems to use Snapseed or Instagram? Does Instagram have comprehensive editing tools? It looks like he uses the standard native camera.

Instagram has some editing tools but I wouldn't call them comprehensive, more like basic but with nice filters.

It was interesting to see what time of day he took the pics. I realise that I seldom take photos in the morning and a fair number of his pics are around 7am. Most I think are the evening golden hour but he still has some great images at other times. For me, the images uploaded around Dec 2015 and later are better than his earlier ones and I wonder if this is when he found good editing software. It’s quite probably that it’s done on a desktop because the EXIF is not lost.

Or he moved up to the iphone X?

quote from Mobiography.net about his b/w Arizona shot
'I took this photo with my iPhone X, used snapseed to convert it to black and white, then applied a ‘grainy film’ effect. Here in Tucson, the University of Arizona’s Center for Creative Photography houses the archives of Ansel Adams, so his approach to landscape photography is still very influential here'
So he definitely uses Snapseed.

I like his BW photos the best. I can't imagine how he got that photo of the ladders at Acoma Pueblo - you can only go there on a tour between 9 and 5 Maybe he got some special permission. I'd love to have a print of that one.
