This is the place to celebrate and showcase all of your beautiful black and white images. This is a theme-free zone so, as long as it's black and white, just about anything and everything goes!

The Rules are simple:

1) All images must be taken and edited on a mobile device: a mobile phone, tablet, iPod or iPad.

2) All images must be simply black and white and all of those lovely shades of grey. Beware grunge edits which may add colour. If I notice an image that has a hint of colour I'll let you know so that you can change it and repost. Or I can delete it and you can repost; not a problem.

3) Any app(s) can be used in the making of your image, editing is permitted, but this must be done on a mobile device (see 1) above).

4) Please remember to add a title and a description of your image and what apps were used. We love to know how you did it.

Last entries before midnight UK time on Saturday 22nd July. Judging will take place on Sunday 23rd July.

This week's winner davegray Dave will be our guest judge for the coming week.

Please also see the MobiTog Rules and Guidelines for all MobiChallenges posted HERE.

This was a very sad find in The Cloisters at Oundle School. This is just part of a wall of many photographs of young men who had attended Oundle School, but who died in the First World War. Much more poignant than seeing names on a list.

This one is doing my head in. I can't frame it right. I love the sweep of the buildings off to the right but there's a lamppost at the far right that spoils the pic. I can mostly cut that out by coming forward but then I lose the bench at the front. Doesn't really matter on this pic because no one's sitting on it but when they do I have to pull back and the lamppost gets in the way.
On top of all that I keep cutting the chimney off. Frustrating. I may be coming back to this scene for years before I'm happy.

I think that lamppost can be easily removed in Retouch.

I really like this one and wouldn't know from it that you had problems with composition. I don't know, [tuts and rolls eyes] town planners!

I think you'd have to experiment with different positions, like directly in front of the lamppost maybe. Unless you want the bench of course, in which case.....
