Love this.... the background and the trees being so soft and foggy makes it look magical, like you're getting close to a veil into another world.
It amazes me how you can capture this! I'm never that quick!Hairy tongue.

Poor guy, looks like the wind rubs him the wrong way!
I only go there to pay the BIG billsHoly guacamole. My bank has one floor and 3 tellers!
I love shots like this.
A late thought here: It needs to be Pixelmator Photo. Plain old Pixelmator is a different beast that doesn't have the super-up-rez.I seem to own Pixelmator. I try that. Thank you!
Nominated for image of the month
Fabulous choices, Ted. Super congrats sdimbour Sandra! Fabulous, moody capture. High fives to chineezguy Michael, Starzee Star and the HMs!!Once I discarded my own images, I was left with 20. I managed to pare that down to five, but after that, things got tough. If I hadn't used up my nominations for Image of the Month already, I'd nominate all of these.
First goes to sdimbour for "Awe," a wonderful juxtaposition that sets off its subject with an intense black surround.
Second goes to chineezguy for the glowing dogs on the couch, a beautifully soft and luminous image that again sets off its subject with intense black.
Third goes to Starzee for "In the light," a lovely counterpoint to the first two images with its background flooded with light, setting off the dark subject.
HMs to Jacosta for "Fritz in the sunset" and to West for "Banking day."
