(There's nothing around to give you the scale of this construction, unfortunately. I estimate it was about 6 feet tall.)
That takes a bit of focusing!
You see these frequently along this stretch, some larger and/or more artistic than others. I think they use whatever rocks are to hand.Wow. That would take some commitment. Beautiful.
I wonder how if the maker used whatever rocks s/he could see, or if s/he hunted around. They’re so beautifully balanced!

I keep coming back to this. Love the lines and depths and textures. I see a non-Mondrian abstract, to go with the non-non-pigeons.
Thank you, JillyWow on so many levels, not least the balancing act and that fabulous blue.
Agh, I tried getting one like yours when we were at the beach last week, but I was using Slow Shutter, not Spectre. I forgot all about Spectre. Slow Shutter didn’t produce anything like this gorgeous one. The sea looks like steamy mist.
Yes, Slow Shutter needs some kind of little tripod to get a shot like this. I carry a little Joby GripTight Micro, which folds down to something about the size of a couple of sticks of gum.Agh, I tried getting one like yours when we were at the beach last week, but I was using Slow Shutter, not Spectre.
