After a brief appearance over at ubbyisis Eva’s Playground I’m here in my own thread (I hope) to say this is what I accomplished mobile photography wise. Otherwise I accomplished many other things including posting in the wrong thread.

There is no such thing as “posting in the wrong thread.” The proper response is “I meant to do that.”

Today was our last day at the museum, at least for the summer. They are starting a construction process, and Jeanie has so much going on in her life, it’s overwhelming her. As for me, I started volunteering the week after I retired and am looking forward to having the summer off, at least. So, for my parting images, instead of old news, I thought I’d show some old prices.

So we’re walking down East Road and hear a noise from behind. We look back you check for oncoming traffic. (It’s a dirt road, traffic being a car  ) Didn’t see anything, but the noise was getting louder. This time when looked, it wasn’t on the road , it was in the air. A small plane was landing at the small airport there.

Should I ask if anyone found the pack of L&M?
After about 10 minutes……yes.

Oddly, the one cigarette ad I photographed from the other memorabilia we went through at the museum was L&M, too.

And as long as we’re having this cigarette conversation, my Grandmother made this 50 or so years ago. Old Gold and Winston I believer. I always thought it was apt.

"Make the logical move..." Geez, I'd forgotten what the advertising was like.

My turn to “not see”. I thought they were all Winston until you pointed out the Old Gold.

Does anybody remember “cigarette tag”? It was a variation on freeze rag; if you shouted out the name of a cigarette brand, “it” could not tag you. We also played “beer tag”. That advertising was ingrained in us.
