It would be cool and there are companies that will do a mural the exact shape of your feature wall with your own artwork.
For some reason, when I look at it, I think of William Morris wallpaper. I'm not sure why because it's not all that Morris-like, but there you go.
It's very 70s looking to me (maybe because of the colors?) so that might be part of why I love it.
