The second definitely has a story going on there.i find both of these quite eerie in different ways. Wouldn’t have been out of place in John’s Halloween theme

Thanks for the kind words.Nice one And welcome back, Ted - good to see you !
Wow love it, definitely a wall hanger
Just lovely colors.
Another old Mixerpiece experiment.
Much as I like it, I hardly ever use Mixerpiece because it‘s so damn hard to manipulate the elements.
Does anyone here use it?

My love letter to MobiTog.
He's one of my heros. Brilliant work. Left when it was finished. Didn't sell out.Ironically, despite the fact that Calvin decides to embrace commercialism in this strip, creator Bill Watterson famously turned down nearly all opportunities to license his work. No toys, no Happy Meals, no magnets, no animated shows or movies, and especially no Calvin peeing on various truck logo stickers. He left an estimated $300-400M from licensing deals sitting on the table because he just didn't need it. He was content to make the best cartoon he could about a precocious boy and his best friend/stuffed tiger and then just walk away when he felt it was time. I respect that.
I'd quite like some coffee. Maybe some cheese and the odd bit of wine? Sausages, central heating, a functioning toilet and some shoes? How about Trump not being the president?I if was to pick a theme, I'd say LOVE, because its all we need.
Still not a given. How about Trump not being the president?
I still get reruns in my daily comics. He's one of my heros. Brilliant work. Left when it was finished. Didn't sell out.
Love this, both the image itself and the graphic look.I Love Nature

Goodness! What a fabulous image.View attachment 162138Always find this process very meditative. I try to use my original captures as much as possible. Used Juxtaposer with the latest update which allows you to download images from “Unsplash” which is where I sourced the hands with cherries image. Used “Humans” app from Brainsfevermedia for the cello player and lightning effects. One of my new favourite apps is “DestroyPix” which I used for the long “tongue” and pixelating the edges of the hands. DistressedFX for the filter
Wonderful! I love everything about this.Glass Hearts

Mostly homemade: I was looking at the work of Laura Horn and liked some of her mark making so I created some marks in Procreate which I converted to brushes. I then used the airbrushes and some of Tesla’s watercolour brushes to create a background and finally added the marks. I blended this with a photo and then wondered how I could fit it into the Love theme. I took it into iColorama and started playing with Deforms and when I got the round ball the lightbulb went on. I created three different balls and then used the Warp to change them into 3-D hearts. Used Superimpose to remove the backgrounds and add some shadow before putting them back onto the original background.
