We have tough little flowers that make their lives in the cracks here also, but I don't remember any of them looking quite this elegant.

These are called Crocus. I like them very much. Small nice flowers. Between late February and March we have them all around here.

I love them both - I'd love to see a black and white version with the crocus flower in colour. Am I being too demanding? :oops:
