I loved it. It’s the one place we paid for a tour. It’s quite a long drive on a gravel/sandy road so you would need a good 4x4 and our rental car did not allow use on a gravel road. It’s just so different. I would also have loved to see The Wave and The Coyote Butts but they now require a permit obtainable via a lottery. I don’t think it will be long before White Pockets requires a permit so don’t leave it too long!

Probably one of my favourite shots of my Arizona holiday. We went to Lake Powell and this raven was scouting for food. We got in our car and started eating our sandwiches and he hopped on the bonnet of the car to beg for food. This is when the 5x zoom really comes into it’s own.

I chose djingonthenet the valleys. Great shot, composition , I love the diagonal and sharpness of the reflection.
