This is the place to celebrate and showcase all of your beautiful black and white images. This is a theme-free zone so, as long as it's black and white, just about anything and everything goes!

The Rules are simple:

1) All images must be taken and edited on a mobile device: a mobile phone, tablet, iPod or iPad.

2) All images must be simply black and white and all of those lovely shades of grey. Beware grunge edits which may add colour. If I notice an image that has a hint of colour I'll let you know so that you can change it and repost. Or I can delete it and you can repost; not a problem.

3) Any app(s) can be used in the making of your image, editing is permitted, but this must be done on a mobile device (see 1) above).

4) Please remember to add a title and a description of your image and what apps were used. We love to know how you did it.

Last entries before midnight UK time on Saturday 10th June. Judging will take place on Sunday 11th June.

This week's winner sinnerjohn John will be our guest judge for the coming week.

Please also see the MobiTog Rules and Guidelines for all MobiChallenges posted HERE.

Another German thing, the little refreshment shops. Invented during the industrialisation to make sure the working class will get their (mineral) water. During that time the water from the tap was inedible. And the amount of beer and Schnaps drunk by the hard working men was high. Nowadays those kiosks belong to German cities, though they are kind of endangered and many of them disappeared meanwhile.
Now at the moment the Frankfurt Städel Musum has an exhibition of photography from students of the "Becher class" (named after the teachers) and along they added a competition: take a picture of those buildings, post them on Instagram with #STAEDELxTRINKHALLE and tell us where they are. I tell you this, because: Chemotaxis, while you are on tour in Germany you can post some of the refreshment huts. Okay the price is just fun (10 day display of the winner picture at the inner city of Frankfurt, but you must be able to send them a 12MP picture – glad if you have a newer device [emoji1]), but just fun for fun. [emoji106][emoji1] If there is anyone out of Germany and finds a kiosk alike you're welcome to post it on Instagram with that hashtag. The Städel will find you.
And though I won't win at all, I can brag one of my pictures was the first they reposted regarding this event. [emoji4] (Don't be afraid, they even ask!) [emoji1]
Sorry for the encyclopaedia in 10 books, didn't intend to write so much. [emoji15]

Love your image, and the background story! I love the idea of searching out and sharing these cute kiosks - kind of a skavenger hunt. :D
