The next step is a leap. Only the top two steps remain. The steps going downstairs are also buried.

I'm quite poor at debate. Public speaking makes me anxious and I do poorly if I'm not practiced.
Online, I tend to follow the advice of a comedian (not sure I remember which) that you throw away your first and second thoughts and use your third.
