That's the only scandi stuff I've read. I like Harlen Coben but sci-fi is my genre of choice.
The Bridge (original Danish/Swedish version) is superb.
The Bridge is the Danish/Swedish version of the Montalbano series?

I would equate Montalbano with a latter day Columbo, minus the raincoat and with added Sicilian machismo ...The Bridge is the Danish/Swedish version of the Montalbano series?
Eww! Montalbano ain't noir, but it sure ain't Columbo either.I would equate Montalbano with a latter day Columbo
On steroids I think.I would equate Montalbano with a latter day Columbo, minus the raincoat and with added Sicilian machismo ...
The Bridge is more like a fast paced Wallander on hemerrhoids, with cross-border cooperation...

This is the Hipstamatic random picture, TTC I was the Original Hipstamatic shot, tweaked in Snapseed and entered in the Lens culture competition for the free image. I have no idea if it fits street photography nor do I doubt it will be mentioned anywhere, because it seems the free entry is just to get your mail address and pest you to persuade you to add more (at the moment even 20% off [emoji1]), but it sure has details. Wonderful image. How clever.Headstone.

My, what big hands you have.
And *wow* - how cool is that, um, doorknob?

I hope you don't mind, David. The devil made me do it [Harry Hole #5].
I couldn't help myself. That doorknob just reached out and grabbed me. And it said 'look! You can see the Light at the back -- at the end of the tunnel -- and there's people going through the door . . .
haemorrhoids, steroids, its all the same............ok well maybe notOn steroids I think.
Neat. I wonder if the wingbeats create their buzzing sounds. As musical notes, that'd be somewhere between C and F below middle C.Based on these figures I estimate these midges can beat their wings between 125 to 175 times a second, possibly more frequently.

If we could harness them somehow and train them to perform we could invent the world's first midgephonium.Neat. I wonder if the wingbeats create their buzzing sounds. As musical notes, that'd be somewhere between C and F below middle C.
It's an very old boiler or water heater or some such, about 2 feet across and maybe 4-5 feet tall, now serving as an outdoor planter. I thought the decorative cutouts were a nice touch. What was this? An iron? A knight's shoe part of his armour? [emoji15]
Too big for that and no spout or handle that I could see. Some kind of deep bowl, 12-14 inches across or so. I love the bright colors and patterns contrasting with the alien plant thing growing out of it.Teapot? [emoji15]
Somebody got frustrated trying to fold the map up again?
