Absolutely fascinating but as you say very distressing. All the intelligentsia were killed off such that the country still suffers from a lack of brain power. Apparently some of the Khmer Rouge still exist in government. I took one of those headphone walks and was in tears at the end. Everybody walked around in silence - it was eerie.

Yes the top end of town tend to transition very easily regardless of politics

This was so difficult but in my head I wanted an image which just naturally worked out of focus. Bokeh was a bonus.

I kept on coming back to JillyG ’s image with the fabulous light. So FIRST is Jilly. Well done.

The next four images came close because they were just so CLEVER. So tied second.
