This was a location on the coast, north of Santa Cruz, that I'd never been to before, so I'm not sure whether it's unusual for the sea lions to be here or not. I do know that there's a lot of food in the water right now, so the sea lions, otters, dolphins, pelicans, whales, etc. are showing up closer to shore than usual and in greater numbers.Sea lions...what a surprising location
