Thanks! Saw a bunch of these spray painted pink triangles with a bit of pink plastic nailed into the center along the walking trail... must have some official park meaning but I don't know what.
The nailed tag and the number make me think they might be surveyor's marks. But they could be marking the location of utility lines (gas, water, etc.), in which case the color and shape of the marks probably tell what's underneath. Could be a prelude to some construction.

I've got a question about the theme for Deborah bohand. So far we've got shots with a point of view low to the ground. What about shots taken low but looking up? Were you thinking of these as well? I mean something like the following. (This wouldn't be an official entry regardless because I've used it before, so no problem for me either way. Just trying to get it clear in my head.)

It's funny you should ask that because, in the cafe today, I was going to photograph their huge light fitting, but Rog said that's not his idea of low angle, so I didn't.

Great question and those shots are a great example of low perspective!

But that was exactly my thinking, too. Just looking up and take a picture from clouds or ceiling. What's wrong with it? I think Sir Green is on the wrong way, not you. And terse is right, too. Though, through my eyes, dear Ted, this picture is taken a bit to straight. Looks more eye to eye than lower perspective. Innit? [emoji4] (sorry, smart as alert …)

Yes, I thought the same. But it's a bike/walking trail through woodland/swamps. Hopefully nothing too drastic.

Also saw several trees with these marking ribbons on them. They didn't necessarily line up with the triangles.

Does it? I'm pretty sure I was crouched down, knee on the ground, with the camera low, but it doesn't matter anyway for this one. I'm not entering it because I've used it in MC before.
