You know me so wellDear John, I hope the roof and other structures are still in place where you are. And thank you. What was it you liked? I'm guessing the ostrich feather . . ?
Superb image, I'm touched that you have chosen this particular picture to make public our mutual love....Dedicated to sinnerjohn. Just noticed what was at my feet while i waited for the bus. Not strictly following the theme of the week but not strictly not.

I really do not find any difficulty in dedicating a beautiful or interesting image to a loved one I think it may well be understood as part of human nature as a sign of love for a loved one
For me, it's just because I'm super busy this week...Perhaps its because of the word "one"'because I imagine most of us "love" more than one person so, we are having to figure out "who" to focus upon and then try to get with them to get an image. Maybe this needs to be a two, three, or four week duration thing? And maybe a visual expression of our love for one person needs more time to figure out what we need to put in place to best represent that love. Just a thought.
Thanks a lot Ryn for your interesting comments
OK, let's continueI don't want to see this stop, it's far too interesting and fun Ad

When I fell you take me up
When I am sick you nurse me back
When I am in trouble you stand by me
When I am in need you console me
What can I ask more from you than wishing you a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
To all Mothers young or old -
A VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Me & a team of specialists. Few ice-breaking exercises, couple of brainstorming sessions, the odd power-point presentation, council approval, green papers 1 through 7, quick review of key performance indicators, last-minute addition of 'helicopter vision' to the mission statement (who forgot that??) and hey presto! Done & dusted.

Thanks a lot for "Concrete and Clay".Well I *thought* this song referred to the lovers as two turtle doves- but it doesn't Anyone know the song I'm thinking of?
These lyrics by Tommy Moeller. I don't know who made the first recording but I know the immortal Cliff Richard is in there somewhere (I'd like to see Radiohead do a punk/art/indie-rock version a lá their first versions of 'Creep')
You to me
Are sweet as roses in the morning
And you to me
Are soft as summer rain at dawn, in love we share
That something rare
The sidewalks in the street
The concrete and the clay beneath my feet
Begins to crumble
But love will never die
Because we'll see the mountains tumble
Before we say goodbye
Hold on a moment - there was no blue-sky thinking or pushing of envelopes. Tut. I don't know [rolls eyes] ... amateurs! Mumble mumble, moan moan.Me & a team of specialists. Unlikely, nothing ever gets achieved in a meeting.Too much time in board meetings?????
