Sounds like they're not too far off -- hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. We may be colder than you in the winter, but right now, when the persimmon is blazing, we've got 60s (F) in the day and high 40s/low 50s at night. The tree actually puts on a second show after all the leaves fall off when we get the bare branches hung with glowing orange fruit.

Love this composition: the merest hint of motion blur on the keg and the ball just fractionally out of frame really makes the image for me. Nottomention of course, the pov- hope no parents were injured in the making of this documentary.
