Wow, I live in the countryside so we have a great view of the stars on clear nights. But this far I have never succeeded in capturing it the way you had!

Not all mobile phones allow to take pictures of the night sky. To do that they need to have a Pro Mode or Manual Mode, in order to adjust exposure and ISO.
