Thanks for sharing this. I just read about Groundhogs day. Interesting and fun reading. When I was a kid one of my favourite book started with the sentence: ”det är vår, det är vår, utropade murmeldjuret” = ”Spring is here, spring is here, shouted the groundhog happily” I guess that was a translation of an American book
And I love the city name Punxsutawney

We were in Punxsutawney once. Every business had a groundhog in front of it. The fire dept had a fireman groundhog, the McDonalds had a Ronald McDonald groundhog. It was terrific. They even have fireworks in the early morning of Groundhog Day. What fun!

We had a great time at the museum today. We did a box that had vintage sheet music and Fox Movietone items. These are from a 1923 weekly planner from Fox featuring Silent movies.

No, I would be a terrible liability behind the bar. Those taps are the soda taps. They brew their own root beer hearteyes orange and crème soda. They are a family friendly, often people bring the whole family in for pizza. Adults can have a couple of beers, the kids have soda. Especially in the summer when they can use the playground, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four and corn hole games.

Went on a road trip yesterday with my friend, Kim, master of the junk shops. We are looking for storage for our laundry, pantry, odds and ends room. We looked online but for some reason Mike is less than enthusiastic to put stuff together.

First stop was my Dr. appt, blood pressure check. He suggested a pneumonia shot. After I whined about it, he offered a lollipop. I told him he promises them all the time, but I never get one. I agreed to the shot, and he returned with this, saying “All out of lollipops”

Score!
Next stop was Penny Lane, a large flea market style consignment shop.

We did really look at storage cupboards too. Here’s one from Austin’s Antiques that was not chosen.
