Day 170 - June 19th - Wild strawberries :inlove:

Finally the first wild strawberries have ripened. We ate a few on our morning walk today. We guess they will come and razorcut the roadsides next week. But this year we have found spots further away from the road so we think we’re going to get a better “harvest” this year.

Day 172 - June 21st - Dead beauties

We found a dead lizard in the middle of the road without its’ tail on our morning walk. Perhaps a bird of prey had dropped it by mistake. Back home we found a beautiful dead bug in the grass. As the darkness is coming back from today I think these beautiful dead creatures are a perfect 365 post.

Both shot with native cam, automatic macro mode and are edited in Lightroom Mobile

Day 174 - June 23rd - The killers finally came

Today, the day before Midsummer when many Swedish people traditionally go out in the countryside to enjoy all the wild flowers, the bastards chose to start the cutting of the road sides. Spoiled my day

Day 175 - June 24th Midsommarafton - Midsummer heatwave

I read somewhere that Apple devices could get malfunctions when used in temperatures over 30 C. Well, here’s just 29 at the moment :D

Seems the terrible heat from the rest of Europe is coming up here these coming days. According to the forecasts the max temp will not be higher than 31 next week. Could have been worse.

Linus is partying with his friends at home. DH and I are not doing anything special. When we were younger this was the day for huge wild parties….

I didn’t even finish my walk yesterday. Called DH and asked him to drive me home. It’s so strange they do it too early. Until a few years ago they came in early autumn. They must be totally deprived of brain cells

Day 176 - June 25th Midsommardagen - Perfect timing

The first waterlily opened this morning. There are seven more buds. I think this is an all-time-high for our tiny pond (about 2 m diametre I guess).

I love the reflection :inlove:

I love that reflection too! We have two flowers on our waterlily.

Day 177 - June 26th - Capturing the bluebells before the get slayed

They cut just one side of the road the other day. Tomorrow is workday, so it’s not a bad guess that they will return for the other verge tomorrow. Lots of bluebells have emerged this weekend. On my morning walk I noticed a stem with white bluebells :) I don’t think I’ve seen that before.

Over 30 degrees here today, so I haven’t done much. Feels like an effort just to pick up the phone :D

Day 178 - June 27th - Linus’ After Work :)

Linus is working his last week before his vacation. Already on Saturday he’s leaving for another camp where he will spend a whole week. He will spend the nights there too. He’s very excited. We bought him a new suitcase and went for an after work visit this afternoon

Day 179 - June 28th - In the shade of the hazel shrub

It’s still very hot here. The cows have found a favourite spot in their hunt for shade. From my short walk today. native cam and LR mobile. Also removed the barbed wires with Retouch

Day 181 - June 30th - Still no storm

We were expecting heavy rain and thunderstorms from early morning. When we got out of bed the forecasts had changed radically  So we plugged everything in and don’t have to escape from here:D

Playing around with Befunky! It’s back with a new version on the iOS. The old one didn’t work and hadn’t been updated for years. I guess we’ll see more cases like this as Apple is going to “ban” non-updated apps.

Used the ultra-wide to get the roses and the waterlilies on the same pic. By the way - we have SEVEN water-lilies blooming now. A new Ubby all-time-high

Day 182 - July 1st - Some rain at last and Mr Sunshine is back here

We got some rain showers this morning. Very much needed. No storms today, but they say it might come really bad weather tomorrow morning. But they are almost always wrong these days. I think the old models for forecasts don’t work with our modern messed up weather.
Anyway, let’s hope they are wrong as regards tomorrow for Linus’ sake. He just landed here and would be very upset if we disconnected the gateway  Tomorrow afternoon we’ll drive him to the camp where he’ll stay for a whole week

edits in Befunky - really good I think!

Day 183 - July 2nd - Finger’s crossed that this coming week will be great for him :):inlove:

Yesterday evening ended in a mess as Linus was so stressed up about going to the summer camp. But we managed to calm him down before we went to bed. Today I found some photos on the web and showed him and he got super happy. I guess he had been unsure of where he was going. How stupid of me not having dugged up those pics before. We left Linus at the camp this afternoon. He found some old school mates there. We had a meeting with the staff and then we went to Linus room for unpacking.
He smiled when DH and I left, but it was an unsecure smile.
I feel a bit sad and nervous.

Ahhh, it must be a bit daunting - for you both. You’ll be at home worrying and he’ll be having a great time. That’s kids.:D
