Day 157 - June 6th - Aquilegia

Today is Sweden’s National Day. We didn’t celebrate. Just had a lovely summer day with Linus.

Day 158 - June 7th - Flower Power Overload

My daily walk usually takes about an hour. Today I took me twice as long. Reason: beautiful flowers everywhere and the air was full of the lovely scent from the lily-of-the-valley. I think I shot more than 50 photos  So now I can’t decide what to post :alien: :D

According to Google they are striped shield bugs.

Day 159 - June 8th - Just some more nature stuff ;)

From today’s walk

The lily-of-the-valley is difficult to capture as the white flowers often get too bright, almost washed out. It didn’t even help to lower the exposure today. So I did my usual painterly trick in iColorama with Coherence, Edges and Watercolor

The butterfly is Carterocephalus, also known as the Arctic Skipper. I had no idea there such a thing as a skipper, which is closely related to butterflies but apparently not the same.
Thanks Jerry :) I looked it up now and apparently it’s not so uncommon here as I thought. I’ve probably seen them many times in my life. But without looking at them properly as I did today

Day 160 - June 9th - Lingonberry blossoms

My head has been occupied by techno stress today which always leads to very few if any photos.

Lingonberry blossoms - real beauties if you get close

That bug pic is so pretty. White, orange and black all beautifully dispersed. Lovely.

Day 165 - June 14th - Another seat taken :lmao:

This morning I discovered that another seat has been takrn over by nature. Not flowers today but hundreds of baby spiders in an armchair on the porch. We have 6 of those chairs so we let the spiders stay where they are until they’re grown-ups and leave home :)

Day 167 - June 16th - More flower power

We seem to have been stuck with the kind of summer weather when the mornings are warm and beautiful, but are followed by thunder and lightning in the late afternoons. So I’d better post something here now, before I get frightened and cut the power.

Just some flowers edited with PTG
