Going on a bear hunt
Don’t know if they’re doing this everywhere, but in Australia and New Zealand people are putting bears in the windows so kids can spot them when they go for a walk with their parents and lift the tension a bit for all that were going through :inlove:
Fine

Great idea :inlove: I don’t know if there is something similar here. I haven’t been visiting civilisation for some weeks:alien:

Would you consider posting this in the current MC ?
Best thing I've seen on Mobitog all week apart from trees and trees and trees. Yeah I like trees too but we seem to be wading knee deep in nature at the moment. I'm craving bricks and concrete
Will do!

hope it means some well-deserved down-time. You are one of the many many health care workers holding the fort for an anxious population. Medicare should’ve gotten you and Mark both a hammock months ago :notworthy:
Thanks for the love, Jen :inlove: But there’s no rest for the wicked  as you guys know, I don’t work in hospitals (yet), but have been seeing/talking to my patients and having to keep up to date with this new virus (since it can have implications for many immunosuppressant medications I need to prescribe on a daily basis), plus having Mark and Joana around more than usual, so less time since all this started. But she does have an afternoon nap even on weekends and public holidays ;) trying to catch up on books and non-pandemic life every once in a while.

Specialists didn’t get anything made easy for seeing patients with all this, which is unfortunate since we deal with serious conditions and our main role during this pandemic is to make sure people stay healthy to avoid crowding at hospitals. So everyone has their part to play and by doing so, we minimise the load for those working frontline. However, I think the priority now is to really support those working in GP practices and hospital staff, so as long as I can continue doing my job in peace, I’m happy :)

This is all :poo:, but it will pass. That’s what I keep telling myself too. There are so many big and little things in our lives that will be impacted, but there’s only so much we can control. Mark and I want to have another baby, and decided to stop trying for a while because of all this, but now decided to continue trying. It’s hard either way, but I’ll be 41 this July, cannot really afford to wait until this all gets sorted to START trying... on the other hand, afraid of being pregnant in the midst of all this... As usual, no right answer! I guess what I’m trying to say is that we have to be aware of everything, do our part, and know that it will eventually end. And that we as a species will hopefully learn something good and redirect our priorities, because I think humankind’s priorities have been in the wrong place for a while ;)

Thanks for your message, I guess I really needed the vent :) :inlove:

When you go out to do some yoga for the first time in 2 years (I stopped mid-pregnancy and never restarted), and a little wet head lies on your chest after she had just been playing in the shell pool in the backyard. Maybe to make sure I was still breathing :D
