BargainWatch *post app bargains here*

ToonCamera is free today. I use it a lot for line work or edges, which I can blend back with art, like my cactus image from a couple of days ago.

Also today, Tinrocket of Popsicolor and Percolator fame released a similar app called Olli. It's three dollars, and has in-app purchases of additional filters. It does both stills and video; but then so does ToonCamera. As of right now, I'm not seeing anything that justifies the purchase of Olli.

I second ToonCamera. Not an app you'll use all the time but quite fun when you want it.

PhotoViva is free today.

My 365 image today uses Repix for some painting Effects, but here's an example from PhotoViva that shows you can do the same thing, plus add color.

Thanks Jerry. I went to get it and found I already had it, but hadn't downloaded it to the iPad.

Was a bit cheaper the other day and I quite like. [emoji4][emoji106]

That's lovely, Jerry. Unlike JillyG , i have it on the iPad (for years) but I don't think I've ever opened it  I'm inspired now to dig it up and have a go :)

As often happens, I went to the App Store for a look and found I had already bought it.

Paint Hack is free today; normally 2.99

Paint Hack by Paul Webb
https://appsto.re/us/GqWc7.i

It's a layering painting app along the lines of Procreate and MetaBrush, without the ability to lift color from a background photo. You can paint on a blank canvas or directly onto an imported image. It has some really interesting, different brush tips.

Paint Hack is an iPad app, in case you go looking for it on your iPhone and it doesn't appear.

How do you import an image on this app?
Thank you

Good question. I wonder if this app just allows you to paint/draw without bringing in an image from your roll.

EDIT: No, that's rubbish, sorry. You have to choose a canvas size first, click on it, go into layers (top right - looks like sheets of paper on top of each other). The page looks like this.

Then click on that square (far right) with a tiny circle in it and a plus sign on the top. This is the button for bringing in your image. Hidden isn't the word!

The UI alone would scare me off... looks like you need to be a mathematician or architect to use it. :barf:
