John has a point, though, Cat. I mean, the last time we had a theme like this . . . Let me see. . . The challenge asked for an artistic interpretation of a line from Wuthering Heights. That was a ‘ladies only’ challenge, right?

:lmao:.......I was wondering when you'd bring that up, didn't you win that one Jen?
I was actually trying to be more inclusive with that challenge, bring people in that could do more arty stuff and was still open to photographic interpretation.
But in my defense I didn't ask for a collage did I, a normal photograph would have been fine. I'm glad Jerry has entered the fray and I'm sure Ted will put something in before the challenge finishes. I'm happy to sit it out for a week.
Collage I see as a niche thing, nothing against it and I'd normally be happy to come out of my comfort zone on most 'photographic' projects. I just don't see this as photographic project......no offense, but you knew that didn't you :)
Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at the 'art' crowd, I very much admire different styles on MobiTog and other forums and I see some great work already on this thread, I especially like Jilly's Dragonfly and I'll be interested in your final choices.
