I wondered if there was such a thing as maximalism and there is, who knew? Not me.
The Wikipedia page on it has this as an intro:

In the arts, maximalism, a reaction against minimalism, is an esthetic of excess and redundancy. The philosophy can be summarized as "more is more", contrasting with the minimalist motto "less is more".

So given it's a reaction to minimalism then it seems fitting to use it for this week's theme in reaction to last.

This site has examples of maximalist photos.
The intro also makes for a good read and uses a nice quote from the Wikipedia page linked above and will save you having to wade through the Wikipedia academic quagmire if you're not so inclined.

Go!

In this case let’s open the theme!
