And is that poor prickly pear lurching out of that tiny pot and searching for sustenance? Those things grow bigger than houses over here (probably also in California?). I think they were declared a noxious weed here at one stage.

I wonder how/where they pick the fruit? You’d need a plant as big as a house to get a plateful!
