Mobi365 Wotanicus' Project 365 - 2021

20 August 2021 - A slow morning in the garden, nothing jumping out at me as interesting so far. Fimo with LM 100 Colour which has a good tonal range and depth.

21 August 2021 - busy day today, so no time to shoot. This evening, I revisited my shots from the train journey back and to Yorkshire. Love a good rail journey, with all the liminal spaces near the lines, that nobody bothers with and are left to nature. Having a camera to hand means I can at least 'see' these places as we pass through. Three shots taken with Fimo Unicolor, then run through Lightroom to approximate the Fimo 1903 look, as I stupidly forgot to shoot with the app last week. Doh!

August 21 -2021 Had a quick fiddle with Fimo 1903. I think it would be ideally suited to an ipad or tablet, as the small screen on my 12 doesnt allow much room to see the objective. Why you view the image through the front lens and not the rear glass baffles me. Anyway, it wont replace Fimo itself any time soon.

It’s definitely a diffeeemt stand alone camera to FIMO and requires a full day of use to get the hang of it . Couldn’t quite understand what you were getting at with the front lens rear glass point?

The image preview appears in this circular frame that makes it look like im staring into the lens. Other aps have the larger rectangular screen like the rear glass focussing screen. Makes it hard to frame

I agree with the framing difficulty, I experienced the same that’s why I found I had to spend a day of shooting anything and everything to get the hang of it

big black fella is Wülf, five years old and daft as a brush. Chocolate fatty is his adoptive sister, Luna - two and as sweet as her namesake. My two soulmates, but constant harrassments!

22 August - Having spent the day preparing stuff for ebay, I found time for a little toy photography in the garden.

August 22 - Dusk. well, the hounds winkled me out and I'm glad they did. A nice quiet walk as the sun went down. A mixture of Fimo LM Colour, Portra, Unicolour and the faux IR film.

August 23 - before being set upon by an idle labrador, I managed to grab an horizon to horizon pano.

Judging by this second one, I need to clean my lenses - you can see the fluff from my jeans pocket!
