Native cam, Moment macro lens, Silvertone filter in Photos
Time to vote for April Image of the Month (IotM). All MobiTog members are eligible to vote. Voting ends May 7.
This is a beauty!!!!
In this case, the blur comes from mounting a macro lens on the camera and then shooting from beyond the very short focus distance of the macro lens. You can get the same/similar effect without the lens by using a camera app with manual focus. The macro lens just makes it easier and allows you to shoot with the native cam app.is the blur simply from not-correcting the focus?
so lovely with the shape still evident - and the silvertone filter is perfect
Yes, I’ve found using the macro (flower) setting on Camera+ works well too.In this case, the blur comes from mounting a macro lens on the camera and then shooting from beyond the very short focus distance of the macro lens. You can get the same/similar effect without the lens by using a camera app with manual focus. The macro lens just makes it easier and allows you to shoot with the native cam app.
EDIT: The macro lens gives more blur than just using manual focus.
First thing I thought before I read your description

Fabulous. Was this straight of the “roll” Ted or did you edit
I love them. I want them for collages. Now I’ll probably spend the next month looking for mannequins to mangle.
These were edits, mostly iColorama plus Waterbrush on the left one. I started out just to mask the mannequin so I could use it later in some collage, but I got carried away.Fabulous. Was this straight of the “roll” Ted or did you edit

That’s not far from us (Jan and Dave Gray are probably nearer). Amazing. I want to visit now.
