Day 95 - April 4th - Safe encounter ;)

A butterfly fell in love with my DH’s garden gloves. Feels good you don’t have to practice social distancing with all living things.

Day 97 - April 6th - Welcoming surprise outside the house :)

The first woodanemones usually show up in the beginning of April. I took an extra long walk today and looked everywhere but didn’t see a single one. When I came back home I found these just outside our house :D

And what was that very important package? It’s nice to see Linus too.

Day 99 - April 8th - Been out snake hunting

The last few days I’ve been looking for vipers as they usually wake up in this time of the year. Last spring I saw several in April. But this year I haven’t met a single snake yet. Here’s some sort of substitute :D

I wasn’t expecting that. I was expecting a snake‘s sloughed skin. That is very hairy. I expect those hairs are an irritant.

Day 100 (!) - April 9th - New acquaintance ;)

I thought I knew the name all of the flowers in our surroundings, but this one was new to me. Had to Google it

alpine pennygrass, Thlaspi caerulescens

What a lovely little plant. I’ve taken one today on our walk, but I don’t know what it’s called. I’ve never seen it before.
