31st March - Sea Fret Coming In
Taken on Hunamby Beach walking with the doggies, the sea fret began to roll in over the waves onto the beach.

I love these flowers as they are such a lovely colour but also a lovely shape.

2nd April - Sun Breaking Through
Todays beach walk, started cold and gloomy but as the waves and wind picked up pushed the clouds for the sun to begin to break through.

3rd April - Stone Circle
Came across this guy on the Bridlington beach creating this stone circle - don’t know why but clearly he had thought it well out with the sizes of the stones and how it was to be constructed - each to their own!

4th April - Primrose
Spotted this primrose plant flowering on top of a tree stump. Obviously, there was enough soil and nutrition from the dying trunk.

7th April - Peek-a-boo
Bertie was enjoying his run around on the beach today especially around these old tank traps.

8th April - Danes Dyke
Still one of my favourite places near Bridlington. A mixture of woodland, deep fernery glades, steep banks with wild garlic and bluebells as well as a lovely secret bay next to Flamborough Head. This image shows the banks and ferns alongside the stream.

9th April - Barnacles and Cockle Shells
Another of my Bridlington images. Liked the textures glued to the ruins of a tank trap.

10th April - Seaweed - Black and White Conversion

Not sure what this is, but found it fascinating. From a distance it looked like some twinge stuck in the rock but it was definitely growing and was some sort of seaweed. Really liked the effect.

12th April - Bladderwrack
A common seaweed on our shores, but still good to photo with the green ‘bladders’ against the black stems.

Not sure what this is, but thought it looked like some sort of alien coming out of the rock!

Spotted this tree on the top of the cliffs. You can see which way the wind’s been blowing against it!
